My name is Andrea Friedman, and I am an attorney concentrating in Matrimonial and Family Law.
After graduating from Hofstra Law School in Hempstead, New York, and moving to Manhattan, I chose to "reverse commute" and began working for my mother, Sari Friedman. For those who do not know, Sari has been practicing this area of law for over thirty years, and it is under her mentorship and guidance, while keeping my eyes open, that I offer our clients legal assistance, advice, and support on a daily basis.
any people ask me how I like working for my mother, and my answer is "it's great!" The truth is I really like what I do. Don't get me wrong, like all jobs, it has its moments. However, everyday I assist people, like many of you out there, who are looking for guidance during what is likely to be the hardest time in your life. My practicality, combined with my compassionate side, along with my "go-getter" attitude has made this area of law a great fit for me.
